This Fall outdoor program will be held on Court #5 at the Halifax Commons and runs twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of September. The program consists of Tuesdays which are specifically dedicated to technique, tennis skills, hand/eye coordination and footwork which is useful in all sports, especially hockey, basketball and soccer. Children develop baseline skills through repetition and positive reinforcement by the coach. The second hour of the program on Thursdays focuses on playing, scoring, line-calling and games developed to reinforce what was learned on Tuesday's technical lesson. This method will develop the foundation and basics needed to keep the ball in play while enjoying fun competition, games and healthy aerobic exercise.
During the 4 weeks the kids will learn to serve, develop a forehand, backhand and net/volley skills all while having a blast!
There will be 2 groupings, one for 7-9 year old's from 3:30-4:30 pm and one for 10-14 year old's from 4:30-5:30 pm.

Thursdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28
Should rain disrupt the lessons we will extend the program into the first week of October and hold lessons on October 3rd and 5th. Rain cancellation notices will be sent out over social media through Twitter @tennistimehrm or Tennis Time on Facebook.
